The breakfast served was excellent and satisfactory with birds feeding.

Good-sized rooms with an excellant shower en suite, felt like home. The location was beautiful and incredible - so close to a beautiful area, very peaceful, Dartmoor National Park and areas of local interest and fabulous walks.

The room was well-equipped and perfectly clean, it had a nice bathroom. The breakfast was very good and amazing and complete with birds feeding.

I came here with my dog. The breakfasts were amazing and marvellous with birds feeding. The location was fantastic and glorious, not far from Dartmoor National Park, Dartmoor, and the garden.

The room was big size and brilliant with central heating, tea/coffee making equipment, and a TV set with satellite channels.

Fairly clean venue with excellent breakfasts and garden views. A good choice of goodies for breakfast. Honestly no complains at all.

By and large, it was lovely base for sightseeing in Bovey Tracey, had much fun. The location was marvellous, so close to the national park with so much to do, in the local area.

Stayed here for 7 nights and appreciated our choice. The room was both brilliant and gorgeous with an excellent shower and tea/coffee. They offered us brilliant meals, had lots of options to choose from. No complaint, the venue met requirements, would be happy to recommend it.

The warm welcome from the owners and their friendly pet spaniel made me feel right at home. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed and plenty of space. The owner, Ben, even gave us a ride to our parkrun the next morning, which was a kind gesture. The location was beautiful and uncrowded, with stunning views and plenty of things to do nearby. The breakfast was amazing, especially the delicious veggie options and the homemade granola. I had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem in the countryside.

Drawbacks: The access to the property is a bit difficult with a poorly pot-holed track. It is also not easily accessible to nearby facilities on foot.

The hotel exceeded high expectations, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I enjoyed this well appointed place, stayed there for 1 night.

The location was quiet with great views. It was easy to find following the host's instructions. National trust properties nearby were a bonus. The twin room was comfortable with a handy fridge. The hosts were friendly and offered tea and ginger cake upon arrival.
